Delaware’s “Queen of Hearts” $200,000 Jackpot, and Bankruptcy

What will you do if you win the Scoreboard’s “Queen of Hearts” jackpot?! I have no inside information, but it appears the jackpot will be around $200,000 this coming Wednesday when the Scoreboard Pub & Grill draws a winning name.

How “Queen of Hearts” is played: Essentially, someone’s name is drawn from a bin. That person gets one chance to reveal the Queen of Hearts playing card on a board with 54 cards on it. If they reveal the Queen of Hearts, they win the jackpot. If they FAIL to reveal the Queen of Hearts, the jackpot continues onto the next drawing. The jackpot grows every week.

As I understand it, there have now been 53(!!!) consecutive weeks that the person drawn from the bin has FAILED to reveal the sacred Queen of Hearts. Yes, that means there is only 1 card remaining on the board; [presumably] the Queen of Hearts. Yes, that also means that the person drawn this coming week will AUTOMATICALLY win the jackpot, which will have grown to around $200,000.

I will be entering the drawing, of course.

I have spoken/dreamed with a number of people about how to spend the winnings; the first answer is always “pay off my debt.”

Well, I have great news: You don’t need to win this jackpot to eliminate your debts! That’s exactly what the bankruptcy laws are designed for. The bankruptcy laws are designed to help people like us eliminate our debts, without having to pay them. The laws are designed to get us fresh starts. Bankruptcy is a benefit provided by the United States Code to help consumers!

Therefore, if you don’t win the “Queen of Hearts” jackpot, you should still take the next easiest step to eliminate your debts: Contact me, Lucas Ruffing, for a FREE consultation about your various options to get a fresh start.

Good luck this week!
